    I utilize the Custom image option in Personalization. I put a picture as the theme. When I start the Xbox, 98% of the time, the Custom image is replaced with a Dynamic Theme.

    As a proactive measure you should change your account password. Was the picture a default Xbox profile picture or a custom picture? If it was a custom picture MS could have changed if there was a complaint about it you shouldhave an email or message
    though.

    Yeah I see, but actually the most annoying thing wasnt the unupdated gamer picture online, it is why the custom one cannot be deleted anywhere and kinda "downloaded" into my xbox just right beside the defult one. sigh.

    you can do this in the xbox companion console by clicking on your current picture on the bar on the left, clicking customize, clicking on your picture and choosing select a custom image.

    Are you part of the preview program? Currently it's only possible to upload them on the console if you're in the preview program. Otherwise, you can use the Xbox beta app on Windows 10 and Android to upload one.
