    XBOX Creator Program - "Use an account with access to this sandbox"


    • I am a member of the XBOX Creator program and was previously able to build an app in Unity, open in Visual Studio and debug on my XBOX console. I am now attempting with the Series X.
    • I ran the Devkit Activation and the device shows up under my XBOX devices in the Partner Center
    • Running the app on the XBOX, it asks me to sign in. I put in my XBOX live account information, but it states: "Use an account with access to this sandbox"
    • I don't recall having to add a sandbox app for testing before, but nevertheless, I created a new sandbox app: https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/products/xxx/overview
    • I added a test user in https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/xboxconfig/TestAccounts/Creator under XBOX Test Accounts, matching my XBOX live username.
    • When I click on the app, it asks me to sign in. I choose my test account. It then gives me an error: Use an account with access to this sandbox and does not launch the game, stating the user or game does not have access to the sandbox.
    • Also to note - I do not see my test user under the XBOX Device Portal https://xbox:11443 and if I try to add it there, it fails with an Unknown Error (not sure if it is related or not)
    • I tried deleting the sandbox under https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/products/9NB4R9F6DSQR/overview, using the "Delete" link, and starting over, but the button did not do anything and it threw an error in the browser console across multiple browsers (not sure if it is related or not)

    Thanks for coming to the forums. The sandbox ID is attached to what program or game you are doing. If this is changed it may affect that development. You can look over the

    documents for Xbox live sandbox creators    .

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the Xbox forums for this issue. Based on the screenshot you've kindly provided, you'll need to have your Microsoft account set as administrator on your device to proceed. As you're using the development programs, I further
    recommend the following resources to help you out in creating the test account and for troubleshooting:

    If you are not able to access ID@Xbox you could always join the
    Xbox Live Creators program     and then transition to ID@Xbox program at a later point.

    and whin I login it say use an account with access to sandbox

    and that account was the only account
