Xbox crashing in 120fps games

Why is it my Xbox series x keeps crashing on any that game that requires 120fps. it’s getting ridiculous now first happened on rainbow six siege crashing every round making it unplayable almost I even changed to 60fps to reduce the crashing but it would still happen ever other round . Then on COD warzone crashing every game then BO6 crashing 5 minutes almost making it completely unplayable. GTA crashing even fifa crashes and now on assassin’s creed shadows even when it’s 60fps mode it crashes why am I spending £450 on a series x (bought on day one) and then a further £60-£80 on games only for this console to not be able to run a game normally. How is it my Xbox 360 and Xbox one had less problems than a series x this is unacceptable for a “next gen” console, and I’ve complained about this before it’s been happening for years.

Please make sure that your Xbox is in a well-ventilated area with no obstructions around the vents.

Clean the vents to remove dust buildup, which can cause overheating.

Avoid placing the console near heat sources.

And then update console firmware by going to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates. Keeping your console updated can resolve compatibility issues.

Next is to switch to 60fps mode. If 120fps mode is causing frequent crashes, switch to 60fps mode in the game's settings. Kindly test it out if it works.

Then test your network connection because a poor network connection can sometimes cause crashes in online games. Run a network test under Settings > Network > Test Network Connection.

If you're running games from an external drive, try moving them to the internal SSD. It is because internal drives can sometimes cause performance issues.

I switch in the video option from 120fps to 60.

In 4 hours of multiplayer no crashes... Maybe is the solution

Actually there are allot of games that are 120fps lmao 🤣 call of duty is one of the franchises also xbox defiantly supports 120fps so how is it false advertising when xbox actually supports 120fps lmao just because games haven't came out for it yet like you said don't mean it doesn't support it and when in actuality games are out that support 120fps

I have a 1080p 144hz monitor, when it is set to 120fps then the colours looks washed out, on 60fps it looks fine. I only play Warzone on 120fps but have to set it to 120fps before launching the game and it makes the colours look washed out. Frustrating as the game does not give me the 120fps mode if not set on the Xbox and like I said it makes the colours look washed out

The game does support 120fps. Make sure your monitor/TV can support 120fps, otherwise the game will only run 60fps.
