xbox core wont connect I have the new xbox core controller. Not brand new had it the time...

I found it funny that The Sun and another stupid "news paper" had an online article saying that b/c the next xbox would have a 4 core proccessor it would be more powerful than any PC would hope to be for a long time.

actually the new xbox and ps4 both have 8 core processors.

That just means it will be bleak for the core gamer. If they do release some tv box lots of people will still buy it. I think the days of the regular $60 dollar release of a hardcore game is limited and going away next gen. The core market will shrink
big time!

But i will say it's an industry opinion that core gamers generally decide the fate of a new console...

I bought a brand new xbox one-s controller so that it would have the 3.5mm input for a mic so that I could talk to my friends. I then bought the xbox one CloudX Stinger Core headset. When I plug the headset into the controller, I get no audio and the mic
isn't recognized. When I go to the xbox controller options, the "Volume" option is greyed out. When I try to start a party, it says "We can't find a microphone for these people".

I have tried updating the controller with the mic plugged in, but as it is a brand new controller, there wasn't an update available. I have also tried restarting the xbox/controller and unplugging the mic, but it still isn't being recognized as plugged
in. I have plugged the mic into my computer and it gets both audio and hears my voice, so I do not believe it is the headset.

I am very frustrated that a brand new controller and brand new headset that I only got because it is Xbox licensed is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds to me it could possibly be your 3.5mm jack inside your controller. I just had to replace mine. Hope this helps.

A good game should make you feel you are in control when you understand how the core of the game works and switch in the last moment just to give that good thrill of a brand new game vision.

I just setup my brand new xbox one and I'm having the same issues

Maybe it has something to do with this ?

It says that Xbox live core services are down.
