    I am writing this on the same night of my second Xbox controller breaking since december of this year. The one point that alwasy seems to break first; is the headphone jack insert. This insert is so cheaply made, it does not hold up after a month of use.
    The original controller that came with my xbox one over five years ago was practically Indestructible. But somehow within that span of five years, micrsoft was able to turn these robust controllers into fragile pieces of plastic. I am starting to lose hope
    on microsoft and I feel they are pushing me farther to purchasing a playstation. Just so I don’t have to keep paying $60-$70 every 3 months for a gosh darn new controller. Sad to see such a great company that always put the people first, into a greedy. Business
    that only cares about the profits and stuffing Bill Gates pockets. So if anyone has any ideas of how to stop these fragile modern art pieces from not breaking after 3 months of use your input would be very welcome.

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    Hey David,

    First thing that comes to mind would be Using co pilot along side the adaptive controller. Co- pilot allows 2 different controllers to control player one,

    Xbox 360 controller compatability with Xbox One

    I wish you could use a Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox one controller. I like my
    Xbox 360 controller more then my Xbox one controller. i don't think anyone(Microsoft of controller
    manufacturers) will do Backward compatible controllers.
