Discus and support Xbox Controllers Trash in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Are they just not made like they used to be? Whats the deal? So in march i bought a brand new controller.     Are they just not made like they used to be? Whats the deal? So in march i bought a brand new controller. Auxillary port goes out. Great. I buy another one. Maybe an hour into playing it just keeps randomly disconnecting from my xbox and wont stay connected.
    I tried the whole “generic response” things that the people on this website suggest. “Oh yeah make sure your batteries are in right” yeah ok. So I took it back. Got another one. This one lasted a month and started doing the same thing. So I took it back. Got
    another. Again. And guess what? A rew months later and now THIS ONE is doing it too. I have never ever had a problem with my controllers until this year. Is this some kind of quality problem? I mean whats happening???

    im literally about to sell my xbox and just get a PS4. This is literally ridiculous.

    I prefer the Xbox over PS, but it's mostly because of the controllers..

    The dual shock controllers are trash to play with.

    I tried replacing with AA-batteries the controller still wouldn't turn on.

    Batteries in the Xbox One controller are meant to be replaceable, normally with AA-batteries.

    Are you using disposable or rechargeable batteries?

    If you are using rechargeables, such as the
    Xbox Play and Charge Kit    , and the battery pack isn't able to hold a charge anymore, you'll just need to replace it.

    I've run into the same issue with my Elite Series 2. I'm going with a Scuf controller next. I'll never buy another xbox elite controller, they're poorly manufactured controllers that cost almost $200.
