Xbox controllers scrolling on it's own

For some reason a lot of my Xbox 1 controllers scroll on there own, I've bought new ones and they still move on there own, I might try an elite controller see if that's the problem but the elite controllers are really expensive and 8 don't know wht to do, I heard at one point that Microsoft was looking into it but haven't heard any results, if anybody has any answer's I would greatly appreciate it.

Just updated another controller

and it has the same problem, I don't know if it's a problem with 1 of the parts inside my controller or not wht should I do?

Because the above solutions do not solve the problem I believe it may be a drifting problem, this problem can only be fixed by taking the console to repair or replacing it with a new one.

Just a Volunteer

Have you run the steps in Update xbox wireless controller? All controllers you use need to run the firmware update.

The uSB method is my preference.

Hello Gallant,

You may want to try a power cycle (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) and see if that makes a difference.

In addition, make sure that your controller is completely up to date in Settings>All Settings>Kinect & Devices>Devices & Accessories.
