Xbox controllers malfunctioning on bluetooth (2)

Do you only have one controller? Without a second controller, it will be difficult to test if the issue is with Bluetooth in the controller or the Bluetooth adaptor. I believe the issue is with the controller.

Note that Xbox One and Series X|S controllers contain two types of WIFI connectivity. A proprietary Xbox wireless connection when connected to consoles or the Xbox wireless receiver for Windows and Bluetooth. Xbox controller's don't use BT when connected to an Xbox console. This is for PC only.

Hello, Thank you for providing the link and yes, I do have a second bluetooth controller and it does not disconnect when using it on my laptop. It only happens with the xbox controller. I would also like to add that the controller does not disconnect when using it wired. However I would like to fix it's malfunction by looking for help.
