Xbox Controllers Joy Sticks OVER Accelerate

Have you tried Airduster to remove any particles from the controller over timing dust can get stuck between the joy stick.

It configures your thumb sticks' dead zones and possibly acceleration. Available for
controller elite configuration

You need to change the settings for the controller , there should be a section under configure controller that allows to change the dead spaces on the joy sticks make sure that they are turned down and centered also when you turn on the xbox try from the
console itself and dont touch the controller. Take tha battries out , put new ones in. And then resnyc the controller to the xbox , do not touch the joy sticks when you do this

if its with the joy stick it maybe stick shift which happens with old controllers,if it gets reallly bad i recomend getting a new controller

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem
