    Xbox Controller


    Hey. My xbox controller started to register double inputs with my left analog stick and d-pad. As well, my right analog stick does not register going right. At all. Its stuck left but you can move it up and down and it will register but as soon as you let
    go it goes back to left and it does not register going right at all. Also the double inputs only happen while in the xbox home/OS. While in video games it does not happen only the right analog stick issue happens. And while it registers double sometimes triple
    and more, When trying to get into to anything by pressing the A button it will register it was pressed, evident when the highlighted area is depressed or however you say it. The point is. It recognizes the A button was pressed but it doesnt do anything but
    evantually after pressign it several times it will actually start the app. What the heck is wrong witht this controller?

    Xbox Controller

    Hey there!

    The controller could just need cleaned. Or perhaps the wireless is going out on the controller. Have you tried to wire it and see if the extra inputs still happen. Or another controller to see if it's the signal in the Xbox?

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    Hey David,

    First thing that comes to mind would be Using co pilot along side the adaptive controller. Co- pilot allows 2 different controllers to control player one,

    I wish you could use a Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox one controller. I like my
    Xbox 360 controller more then my Xbox one controller. i don't think anyone(Microsoft of controller
    manufacturers) will do Backward compatible controllers.
