Xbox controller won't connect to Xbox but to the wireless adapter

so I had 2 controllers one for Windows and one for the Xbox360,

Now they both connects only to the wireless receiver for Windows and they won't connect to the xbox360.

And even before I couldn't connect the xbox360 controller for Windows to my xbox...

Can I fix it? Tried so many ways but I have no clue..

If I own an Xbox 360E and an Xbox ONE wireless controller with a wireless pc adapter can I connect the Xbox ONE controller to the Xbox 360 through the pc adapter?

I bought a xbox-one elite controller and wireless adapter for him. I also have an older wireless controller xbox 360 that I want to use it in pair with the new one, but fail to connect, i dont know if the 360 wireless controller work with xbox-one wireless

Hopefully all you should need to do is to re pair the controller with your Xbox 360, Don't worry about if the controller initially connects to the Windows receiver as when the pairing is completed it should then hopefully forget the Windows receiver.

The Bluetooth controllers don't come with an adaptor, is has Bluetooth built in. The device it connects to need to have Bluetooth to work, if your PC doesn't then you need to get a Bluetooth adapter for the PC.

The wireless part of the controller works on a unique frequency only for the xbox controllers, so it won't work with WiFi, so for your PC to use the Xbox Wireless part, you would need the Xbox Wireless Adapter.

The controller won't bind to the adapter

If the binding instructions are not working, try the following solutions:

Ensure you're within range (6 meters or less) of the adapter and it's in line of sight to the controller.
If you have an Xbox controller, try rebinding your controller to the console by pressing the Connect button on the console, and then the Connect button on the controller. The LEDs will flash and become solid when the binding is successful. If your controller
does bind, you have isolated the issue to the Wireless Adapter for Windows. If your controller does not bind to your console, see Set
up the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
Unplug your adapter, reboot your device, and then plug it back in (to another port if possible), and try again.

Because Xbox controllers use a proprietary wireless technology known as Xbox Wireless. As such you can't use any adapter to connect the controller, it has to be the Xbox Wireless adapter specifically.

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?
