    Xbox controller warranty is showing out of date erroneously


    Hello,

    My xbox series X controller is broken and will not turn on.

    I have troubleshot and done everything possible to get the controller to turn back on.

    I purchased the controller from target in December of 2022, and it is now May, which is still inside of the warranty period.

    I have proof of purchase.

    I am unable to get through to microsoft as the phone service sends me in an automated loop.

    Please help.

    Yes Maximus that is why you are contacting support to update your warranty with the proof of purchase :)

    Hey whats up DeniqL.

    Thank you for that info, I have filed a warranty support request.

    The issue is, it's saying my controller is outside of warranty, when it isn't.

    I'm hoping to hear back about it tomorrow.

    Have you tried contacting them this way?

    Go to Microsoft account | Devices and locate your device.

    Select Info & support and, if necessary, select Register to register the device and see coverage details.

    On the row for Warranty claims, select Learn more.

    Select submit a request.

    Provide information on the Warranty Support request form and select Submit.

    Hello Mauricio,

    If the controller is out of warranty, there is no repair for out of warranty controllers. The only thing to do is replace the controller. Personally with my controllers this drifting is the main thing I get also. As to what causes it is just use. Controller
    warranties from date of purchase are 90 days.
