    Xbox Controller Trouble to Connect at PC


    Hello everyone, hope you doing well,

    Im having trouble to connect my new controller on my pc. I tried if it works generally on phone and it’s connected normally. On pc unfortunately it does not recognize it. It doesn’t show up on Xbox Accessories App as well. Any suggestions or ideas what could solve this issue? It’s the Xbox White Robot Controller if it matters

    Hello Johnnie, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your controller.

    On either the Xbox or PC please open the Accessories App (in Settings on Xbox). Once there you'll see your connected controller and should be able to remap the buttons you need from there.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting your controller to your PC. The latest Xbox controller firmware update may affect Bluetooth connectivity and performance with some non-Xbox devices. If your controller is having Bluetooth-related issues after a firmware update, you can choose to revert your controller to an earlier firmware version to correct the problem.

    On your Xbox console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Xbox Support > Get help > Help topics > Hardware & networking > Controllers > My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update. Select Check your controller’s firmware to open the controller firmware reversion screen in the Xbox Accessories app, and then follow the instructions in the app.

    Note: You can also use this link to revert your controller’s firmware on a Windows device. You will need to have the Xbox Accessories app for Windows installed for the Check your controller’s firmware link to work. If you don’t have the app, get it here: https://aka.ms/xboxaccessoriesupdateapp
