    Hello, I want to buy the new xbox one controller to play on my new laptop but I have been reading different things and need clarification. I would like to play wirelessly, does that mean I have to buy the adapter? I read that the new controller model does
    not need the adapter due to bluetooth so do I just buy the controller and that is all?

    Xbox controller to PC help

    Hi,

    The new controllers support Bluetooth, so all you need to do is pair it up to your computer, Windows 10 already has the driver built in to the O.S. I've also used mine on an Android tablet via Bluetooth.
