Xbox Controller synced but missing in accessories

I have one Xbox controller that works with all other devices but my Xbox. I've unsynced it and resynced, but I get no movement on my screen. I've tried using the USB and it doesn't recognize the controller being there at all in accessories. My PC recognized the controllerand was able to complete the update. My son's iPhone recognizes the controller as well. My other controllers work, but this one has a better working joystick, and I really need this one connected again. Does anyone have a solution?

It sounds like you are having an issue with your Xbox controller not being recognized by your Xbox console.

Make sure that your controller is fully charged and turned on.

Try using a different USB cable to connect your controller to the console.

Reset your controller by pressing the small button on the back of the controller using a paperclip or similar object.

Unplug your console and wait a few minutes before plugging it back in and attempting to sync the controller again.

If you are using a wireless controller, try syncing the controller to the console using a USB cable.

If you are using a wired controller, try connecting the controller to a different USB port on the console.

If you have tried these steps and are still unable to get your controller to connect to your console, it is possible that there may be an issue with the controller itself. In this case, you may need to contact Xbox Support for further assistance.

We have 2 Xbox consoles, and it works with one but not the other. I followed all of the above steps and still having the issue. The one it doesn't work with is my son's Xbox, and he needs it for 2 players on Minecraft while someone is playing on the other Xbox. So borrowing the controller to the other console isn't an option.

Try updating the controller with the Wire in the Xbox Accessories App.

Then try an re sync the controller.

syncing the controller by pressing both the sync button on the console and the controller?

Sorry about that but its normal , controller just sync with one device, you cant sync it with both devices in order to work...
