    Xbox Controller shutting off on movie Passion of the christ.


    Hi so I was watching the movie the passion of the Christ and out of nowhere my Minecraft edition creepster Xbox 1 controller keeps shutting off and I lose sound because I was wearing headphones at the time. I don't know if this has something to do with
    the console however when I play Minecraft my controller works just fine and I don't lose sound. Can someone explain this? Please?

    To watch a movie my Xbox is shut to a 6 hour shut off. I put the movie in at 815 and I woke up at 630 to find it on.

    My xbox keeps restarting

    Someone posted a similar problem a while back. It seems it was the shut down preferences that were set. They had their system set to shut down after a certain amount of non use time. When their wireless controller shut off (during the movie) the console
    recognized that as not in use and proceeded with the shut down.

    Perhaps take a look at your preferences and see if you have it set up to shut down after an amount of time. If so, either increase the time or turn the auto shut down off.

    Got my xbox one for Christmas. Set it all up and while I'm watching a show or movie on hulu plus both box and controller will shut off for now reason. Yes I've set the automatic shut off to 6 hours but this will happen randomly at any time. thirty minutes
    into a show. Five minutes into a show. Two of my sons have xbox ones and I have asked them if they have this problem and said no. Please help, new to this. I'm thinking this should not be happening.
