    Xbox controller screenshot problem


    Hey guys! I have a problem with the screenshots. If I connect my xbox controller with the USB cable to the PC and press the button to take the screenshots it works. But if I connect the controller to the PC with Bluetooth the screen button doesn't work. Before it worked great,but now I have to connect it via cable if I want to take some screen shots. I have the new Starfield Xbox controller. Can someone help me?

    Incorrect configuration setting is one of the possible reasons why your screenshots do not appear completely. To help you resolve this concern, I need to collect more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Are you experiencing this concern only when making screenshot when playing?
    • Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this concern?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

    I'm having the same issue but only with certain games. I haven't been able to share any screenshots from White Night but can share captures from Blue Estate and Halo: MCC.

    the screenshots you show do not show this is in windows , so your missleading us, the xbox report a problem app, just shows you how to press the xbox button on an app or game & report an issue with that, not the console itself , so totally useless in this scenario........ & the problem isnt the controller, its the console (all controllers now do this with this console, but not with other consoles, so the error reporting would be wrong).

    Try the following things please:

    If you have Cortana set up - "Hey Cortana, Record that" or "Hey Cortana, take a screenshot" (can be used with Kinect or a headset)

    If you use Xbox commands - "Xbox Record That" or "Xbox take a screenshot" (used with Kinect only)

    Press the Guide button on your controller and select X or Y to take a screenshot or recording
