Xbox controller RB button not responding...

Basically, on my Xbox elite pro controller for the past few months, the RB button is not responding to the inputs, unless pressed very hard.

I was going to get a warranty on it but it ran out only a month ago when I decided to finally look into it as it kept bothering me (after picking up a game again this past month).

I've seen videos of people taking the controller apart and trying to fix it. Which shows other people are having the same issue, but I was wondering if there was anything Microsoft support could do for me. Instead of my doing it.

Just some minutes ago the B button stopped working. And when i resynced the controller the B Button worked ! But the RB And the Y Button is still not responding.

Last month i bought a normal xbox one controller and the RB button suddenly started jumping 2 places everytime i clicked it and it wasnt useable so i went out and bought an elite series 2 controller and the exact same thing has happened with this
after a week of using it so if you dont get what i mean say im on the home screen tab and i click the RB button it would jump to the Mixer tab instead of going 1 place to the game pass tab anyone know why this happens

Same, after using my elite series 2 since it came out on Day 1, my RB doesn’t respond. When i click it with a slight touch on my LB, it responds, but when I do the same press, it doesn’t respond. This started happening 2 days ago out of nowhere. Any fixes?

RB button breaks seem to be common on controllers. My elite controller RB buttons stopped working as well. I was able to use my warranty on it. I recommend you send it to get it fixed, possibly getting in contact with xbox support and explaining the
problem. You might also want to talk with the retailer you bought it from and see their policies for broken items. That may be impossible since it has been 3 weeks since you took it out. I hope this cleared some things up for you. I'm happy to help if you
