    xbox controller rapid disconnet and reconnect


    as of a few days ago my xbox elite 2 and other xbox controllers have been what i can only describe as a rapid disconnect and reconnect. it makes it impossible to play any games due it switching back to kiteboard then the next button sends it back to the controller. I've been using this controller for a few months with no issues. any one have a clue as to what is going on. note that i have checked the drivers and the controller is UpToDate. Also nit has no issues with the xbox. i have also tried unpairing and repairing it. does it the same whether connected via bluetooth or usb. i have checked multiple cords and usb inlets. same issue no matter the connection. it is beyond frustrating and has totally shut me down from most of the games i play on the pc.

    Hello there, I would like to know if you are connecting your controller to your PC via bluetooth only, or if you are using the Xbox One Wireless USB Adapter that plugs into your PC?

    Based on what you've mentioned so far, it sounds like some interference may be happening, especially if you've recently installed any new wireless hardware on or near where your PC is located.

    there seems to be some confusion in this threadso i'll clarify.

    moded controllers are against the tos. non modded rapid fire controllers are not.

    there are sevral rapid fire controllers out there you can by mad catz makes one these are ms licensed controllers.

    so if someone has a modded controller they are infact cheating but if they have a legal rapid fire controller they are not cheating. good luck proving someone has a modded controller instead of a rapid fire controller. you cant tell the diffrence in game.

    Rapid Fire controllers do not violate the xbox live ToU. Developers can set up their own rules for their games such as for the CoD games were using a rapid fire controller is a banable offense. It will however not get you banned from xbox live.
