    XBox controller performing system tasks instead of gaming


    To not bury the lead, I'm trying to get my xbox elite 2 controller to work with my android for the cloud gaming beta.

    I have the controller paired to my system fine, I've updated the controller previously, and the app itself works fine. My problem is the controller seems more intent with interacting with the phone hardware than the game.

    I'm using a samsung galaxy 10+ and when i hit the b button it seems to work like a back button. When i hit a shoulder button it switches apps. You get the idea. I just want to play games with it!

    I cant find any system controller settings, what do i do?

    It's not your controller. It's a power draw issue. Some battery brands don't provide sufficient power, or may provide too much. Either way, try switching your battery brand, and if you're using rechargeable batteries, try a different mAh capacity.

    Think this should be normal behavior as in instant on the system is not really active, only very reduced task are performed, like downloading and surveillance on Kinect activity for powering up. So to "install" the game to the Xbox one os it needs to be
    powered up fully then.
