    Hey,

    I have a xbox controller I got with my PC as a bundle.I started using it to play games with it on PC and it worked fine until, one day it didnt start up as soon as i connected it to my PC. I stared it up by pressing the xbox button and it started blinking
    but still didnt work. I have updated the driver and tested it on another windows 10 computer. It still didnt work. I cant find a way to fix it so i need your help.

    Xbox Controller Recognition Failure

    When I try to plug my Xbox Controller into my PC via USB cable, it does not connect, and the computer displays an error message in the settings, " Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) - Driver Error.

    How do I fix this please?!

    Xbox One controller no longer works or shows up in device manager.

    I was playing PC games using the Xbox one controller until I received USB device descriptor request failed and the controller was unrecognized in device manager. I uninstalled the driver in device manager and now the controller will only buzz quickly when
    plugged in but the drivers will not install and the controller is not listed in device manager. I tried to trouble shoot the device manager and restart the computer a bunch of times which hasn't done anything.

    Make sure your usb port is connection is firm. Sometimes i have experienced in the past that the conntion of the usb port works its way lose. Or have you tried it in a different USB port on your pc?

    Make sure your USB port is securely connected.
    In the past, I've noticed that the usb port connection has a tendency to loosen.
    Have you tried it in another USB port on your computer?

    Hi, I looked for it in the Device Manager, but it doesn´t appear on the human interface device section. It appeared on USB controllers as Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

    I connected the XBOX ONE wireless controller to my Windows 10 laptop via USB connection, but it is not recognized.
