Xbox controller not fit for purpose

After spending over £500 on a Xbox series X on release date you expect the controller to last more than 15 months (just outside warranty)

Forced to buy new controller to get best experience out of console. 4 months after buying new console need to get it repaired, still in warranty but will be replaced with a refurb not brand new controller. This is ridiculous in my eyes and shows these controllers are not fit for purpose. I play a maximum of 12 hours per week so no idea how they break so quick.

There is no way of making an official complaint just get to speak to a bit.

    :)

Xbox controller not fit for purpose

    Hi Derek

Thanks for the suggestion but I have followed the replacement process. It's more the fact I don't think these controllers are fit for purpose. After having the controller for 15 months to then need a replacement and then the replacement needs repair after 5 months it's a bit of a joke. Seems like it is something wrong with the build quality in my eyes.

    Hello!

My name is Dérek, I'm an independent platform consultant and I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you.

Nick, I'm really sorry about your situation.

What I can help you with, being here on the forums, would be to actually trigger your warranty to have the control replaced.

Click on this link, if your console appears in your account click on it or register it.

After clicking on it, go to ''online service''. In the category put ''accessories'' and next to ''standard control'' and fill in the form with your data.

    https://support.xbox.com/en-us/help/hardware-ne...

And if you want to send a suggestion/criticism, you can download the HUB for feedback app on your windows, and follow the step by step to do so.

I remain at your disposal if you have any further questions.
