Xbox controller mischief

Probably some bug, I believe you should solve this by clearing the console cache or resetting the console.

Clear your console cache
Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable, wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds, this step resets the power supply. 
Plug the console power cable back in, turn on your Xbox.

If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>
Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

If you even try and bring that to a court the judge will throw you in jailer public mischief and wasting the courts time and contempt of the court

That is completely false. As stated several times you could have made sure the controller was out of his reach. Any parent whom thinks a child will not cause/get into some sort of mischief when left unsupervised is just fooling
themselves into a false sense of security. That and the console itself has Parental Controls on it as well as account controls to prevent unauthorized access of your account.
