Xbox Controller malfunction

Dear Microsoft and Xbox Customer Support,

I am writing to you regarding the original Xbox controller that I purchased. Unfortunately, I have experienced issues with the controller. As an avid gamer, I was excited to finally invest in an original controller to enhance my gaming experience. However, my excitement has quickly turned into disappointment due to the faulty product that I received. The controller that I received appears to have a defect that is affecting its performance. The right joystick is unresponsive. I have tried all possible troubleshooting solutions, but the issue persists. As a result, I am unable to play games on my Xbox controller as intended, and it is affecting my overall gaming experience. As a loyal customer, I was hoping that Microsoft and Xbox would provide high-quality products that meet the standards of their customers. Unfortunately, my experience with this controller has been far from satisfactory. I do not believe that a company like Microsoft and Xbox would treat its customers in this manner, and I am disappointed that I have to resort to purchasing third-party controllers that work, rather than buying a reliable product from Xbox. I am writing to request your assistance in resolving this issue. I would appreciate it if you could replace the defective controller with a working one or provide me with a refund for the faulty product. Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

I had the same problem..controller would poop out for no reason or couldn't hold the charge.FINALLY found a wired controller.This has been a problem since the 360 was first released,and i should know as i pre ordered the first version of the console and
have been dealing with controllers crapping out ever since.

When i bought the first system i was returrning controllers every 2 weeks because they couldn't hold a charge beyond 10 minutes.My brother in Law gave me his recharger cord and that worked for a couple years,but i think keeping it plugged in all the time
caused some funky stuff as it started not to be recognized recently and if i put in the battery pack the power cord would go red.

Found a Mad Catz wired controller,at one store,and so far so good...for now.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Xbox controller. If your controller is still under warranty, I highly recommend creating a Service Order for it by following the instructions below.

1. Sign in to account.microsoft.com/devices.

2. Locate the device that needs service > click on Show details > select Start order.

Once you submit your Service Order, you'll receive a shipping label together with the instruction email on how you're going to send your device. You should receive it within 24-48 hours so please keep an eye on your email inbox, junk, or spam filters.
