Xbox controller making weird sound when vibrating

Are you sure the sound is not coming from your controller when it vibrates? You described the sound my controller makes.

so the weird noises the other players notice is the controller on vibration, which causes the headset to make noises. Turn off the vibration to controller and they shouldn't hear it anymore. you should notice it when you are getting shot at or jumping.

um... "find my controller". that's a little weird. but i spose you could put in a thing to make it vibrate from the xbox .

When I'm using a wired controller. To make it stop making the "buzzing" sound. Turn off the "vibration."

*Vibration*

*Click A*

It's on when there's a "check mark" in the box.

It's off when there's no "check mark" in the box.

"Yeah, but then we'd lose the vibration function on our controllers!"

True. Either way you're screwed.

On: It's going to make that "buzzing" sound.

Off: You lose vibration.

But the good news is. For my headsets(X11, X12) they only do that when I have the cord for talking plugged in both the headset, and the controller. So for most of the time. I can play with the vibration turned on.
