Xbox controller issue after cleaning

I had the same issue as you at one point with one of my controllers. My "Day One" controller was giving me the same issues until I cleaned it like you mentioned, although, I didn't use alcohol. After the cleaning, the controller performed like it was brand
new. Maybe another cleaning or the controller itself was bad.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with teh RB bumper, if you already tried to fully clean the controller and even after that the issue persists unfortunately this means that there is something with the bumper and your controller needs to be replaced

I had some controllers last up to 5 years without giving any issues.

I think If you look after it, they can last long.

By looking after it I mean clean it regularly, don’t eat and use it without cleaning your hands first, don’t drop it and put it down gently after gaming sessions.
