xbox controller glitched on pc

Seems like the issue is on your PC. Might be that some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, we can try to use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files. To do that go to this link. Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files (microsoft.com)

If not try this.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows (microsoft.com) You can create a local user account (an offline account) for anyone who will frequently use your PC. The best option in most cases, though, is for everyone who uses your PC to have a Microsoft account. With a Microsoft account, you can access your apps, files, and Microsoft services across your devices.

Kindly check if you have system restore point to when the game & controller were working and try to restore the PC back to that point.

We can also apply the inn place upgrade by going to this link.

1. If you are on Windows 10: Download Windows 10
   
2. For Windows 11: Download Windows 11
   
3. Under Create Windows 11 Installation Media, please select the + Before you begin. From this step you will read a detailed instruction how to perform the upgrade.
   
4. Please choose "Download now".
   NOTE: Please make sure to select Keep personal files and apps. Otherwise, do not continue!

i cant uninstall the plug and play software device enumerator driver but i tried updating it i also tried to reinstall the controller device but it still wont work

With your latest response that says "every controller i connect to my pc doesn't work but if it is connected to another pc or an xbox it works" this means that it is your PC. May we ask if you have updated the latest windows version on that PC? If not kindly try to update it to its lates windows version and you may also include the game services.

Here are the steps on how to update.

1. Install PC updates including Optional Update. Guide - Update Windows
   
   • If you have issues with update, please check the troubleshooting steps available here - Troubleshoot problems updating Windows.
     
2. Please do the update of drivers, guide - update drivers in Windows.
   
   • NVIDIA
     
   • AMD
     
3. Note: Please make sure you know your credentials before proceeding to the next steps. If in doubt, try to manually sign in here: Microsoft Account | Home.
   
   • Log out from Xbox app and Microsoft Store. Make sure there is no account remain logged into those apps.
     
   • Reset/Repair Microsoft Store and Xbox app. Guide - Repair apps and programs in Windows.
     
   • Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
     
   • Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:
     
     1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
        
     2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
        

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

1. Wait for the process to finish.
   

1. Restart and disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy, firewall and PC Optimizer.
   
2. Sign into the Microsoft Store and please update all the Xbox apps by following this guide: Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store.

Let's try this solution and see if it will work.

1. Connect your controller to your PC via USB cable
2. Download Xbox accessories app from Microsoft Store

3. Launch Microsoft Store

4. Download latest updates for your controller

5. Disconnect the cable

6. Reboot

7. Remove the controller from Bluetooth devices and pair it again (for me it paired with a slightly different name)

8. Test in a few games (worked for 3 games I previously had issues with)

Retry pairing process if it did not work.

Hello I somehow fixed the problem I was having and I have no idea how but its working now! Thanks for trying to help me.
