    So I have ran into some very concerning issues with the support I’ve had over an Xbox controller I bought. To the point when I’m genuinely considering taking legal action. Under the consumer rights act. - I purchased a controller on the 17th of January 2021, within the first month it got some minor issues mainly being (sticky buttons/clicky and thumbstick drift.) I contacted the staff team via online chat. Where they told me I’d have to wait 7-14 days for a repairs service. Please bare inmind it took almost 14 days to actually get support. Then denied me my 30 refund - which I would’ve just used to buy another controller. I am currently in lockdown, my only source of enjoyment is my Xbox. So waiting up to 2 weeks was not an option. After another few weeks my controller started rejecting headsets, I bought a new headset (astros) which also, didn’t work. So I contacted them again which took another 2 weeks. Again, they only offered a repair-replace. Also here’s where the legalities come in. - I have been fobbed off 3 times today (hung up on) on phone calls. Not to mention being redirected to multiple departments. I genuinely feel like they’re rejecting my consumer rights by delaying the customer service.

    At the end of the day, I bought a product which was broken. All I wanted was a replacement and they’ve made it beyond stressful.

    Hoping to hear from someone’s although I am pretty sure this will be deleted.

    also i thought id add, the last person who i spoke to redirected me to a department that was closed.

    Ms.legalThats Is because return warranty only not refund

    That is the retailer you bought it from

    That is with any company

    Refunds are direct from your retailer

    And manufacturers are only responsible for warranty as they didn't get your money that's an issue you need to take up with the retailer

    So unless you purchased it from MS store which case you would still contact ms store not supoort

    And threats of legal action. Ends your thread just fyi

    You can goto ms legal department

    As mentioned ms fulfilled their end you didnt the only thing they can offer you is warranty

    Refunds are direct from the retailer since you avoided it instead of going thru the normal.30 day refund period that's your issue

    7-14 business days is refund period just a fyi which they would've revered you to do so from the retailer not support

    Your gramma kinda makes me aggravated. Mines not the best but Jesus. Couldn’t understand half the stuff you was saying.

    First of all I didn’t avoid, I was also told my warranty stays until the end of the year, I have conversations to back this claim. Second, I purchased it from Microsoft store. It literally says on the store that they offer a 90 day replacement- repair or refund. I contacted before the 30 refund anyway. It just wasn’t possible to reach due to phone lines being down (again, I’ve got conversation logs to agents)

    No, it's poor, extremely poor. There is nothing good about a horse crap sandwich. Everyone would agree on that. There is very little poor about G4G. If you are one of the few unhappy ones then that is just your personal opinion.

    Didn't recieve my £50 for pre ordering FIFA 15 and XBOX ONE bundle.

    Same here. Extremely poor customer service from microsoft with this.

    There are several questionable statements in the OP's posts, but the region-free bit of the XB1 only applies to games.
