Xbox Controller doesn't vibrate while using in-game

I have been playing Forza Horizon 4 and I noticed that my controller doesn't vibrate in-game or in any other game, even the Xbox Accessories App I installed can't make it vibrate. The actual controller is OK but it just won't vibrate in-game on Windows 10. I have tried restarting the computer, I have tried unplugging and plugging in the controller, I have tried turning it off and turning it back on, I have tried to leave it charging for a bit and still doesn't work. My controller has been fully up-to-date. This issue is happening on Windows 10 and I don't have an Xbox on test on unfortunately. Does anyone have a solution to my issue so I don't have to get up with support about an Xbox controller for the 2nd time?

If you aren’t using the official Xbox wireless adapter, only basic controls are supported through Bluetooth

Thanks, the wheel itself doesn't have any vibration built in, but I'm trying to find out if I can get the normal Xbox controller to vibrate while I'm using the wheel, I can't seem to figure it out

I don't have an xbox console to revert to an old firmware.

Also the controller doesn't have any connection issue or any major problem except it just doesn't vibrate while gaming wirelessly. It does vibrate using web app, and in game with the trick I explained before, so I have a strong feeling this is a bug, or it is an expected behavior.

If it's the expected behavior it should be in the documentation: I read that the microsoft xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 is required to get the vibration working in-game without wired connection, is that true or some incorrect statement?

^^ Doesn't your controller vibrate like crazy when it happens? I forget. It's been a while.

Does the controller experience this behavior on both the Xbox One console and a Windows 10 PC?

Does the controller exhibit this behavior while plugged in via the cable provided and wireless?

In the Xbox Accessories app, when selecting the Vibration test, does the vibration feel at full percent when at 100%?

Have you updated the controller's firmware in the Xbox Accessories app with the provided cable?

I'm not sure if the controller is designed to dial back the vibration in the menus but the vibration should feel at full percent while playing games, unless the game settings has a vibration feature as well. If the game does not have vibration settings you
should feel the expected power of it being at 100% like it would feel in the vibration test in the app.

Answer those questions for us so we have a better idea about the issue you are experiencing.
