Xbox controller doesn't move as I want

Hi,

this is Jaehwi

I play Forza and FIFA using the Xbox controller.

Recently the left stick of my controller tries to stay 'up' even without input.

Because of this effect, the players kept running upward in FIFA.

This is happening in every game. I feel this situation like a national disaster.

What is the way to solve this?

What your experiencing is a common issue called drift. This is when the joystick module wears out and no longer centers properly causing it to get stuck in the up position. The only fix is to replace the stick which can be done but requires some soldering
skills, and it's easier just to buy a new one, or if it's still under warranty, return it.

Like the 2 other people said, or you go and buy a new one or you send this to repair or you repair alone if you have the right tools, but sometimes it can be some dirt, it happened to me.

the only way to solve this is to either get the controller repaired if its out of warranty or buy a new controller.

I have had the same problem with my right stick, as far as i know it is a hardware problem. you'll have to get it repaired or buy a new one.
