    Xbox controller disconnecting midgame


    Hi,

    I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, if not I'm sorry!! :,)

    I recently purchased the dream vapor wireless Xbox controller and have been using it to play Elden Ring. However, I've noticed that it'll randomly start blinking and then go back to normal. Every time this happens it causes me to die or makes my game freeze/crash. I thought it might be due to the batteries being low, but I just replaced them today with a set of *good* batteries and it has already happened two more times.

    My main question is should I take it back to GameStop and exchange it or is there a way I can fix this?

    My other controller has the same exact problems. My steering wheel isn’t recognized eather. And there hasn’t changed anything in my setup the last couple of years, so there couldn’t be an interference suddenly. Tomorrow I am buying the One X and hoping

    Before you throw away the XBOX... you could use another controller without any problems. Do you have anything in the way that might interfere with the connection of console and controller, e.g. other Wirless Equipment?
