    Xbox Controller Disconnecting from PC


    Hello. I have a regular Xbox wireless controller. When I plug it into my PC via USB A to USB C, the controller doesn't work as intended. The controller would disconnect after a couple seconds of use, and the only way to keep it from disconnecting is to keep the controller perfectly still (the controller will sometimes disconnect anyways). Is their a way to fix this? Bluetooth works fine but I experience way to much latency to play a game. I have also switched cables and the problem persists. Is there a problem with the controller? Is there a problem with my USB ports on my PC?

    it never happened while i played Xbox before i started using it as a PC controller
