Xbox Controller Defective

My God, how do I contact Microsoft for warranty support? Everything I've tried keeps giving me automated assistant or directing me to these discussions. I bought a controller a month ago, and the RT button keeps sticking when I push it all the way down. There should be some type of warranty to have the controller fixed. It's messing up my gaming since I normally play driving games and that's the primary button they use.

This is annoying. Microsoft isn't even going to fix the controller. They are going to send me a refurbished controller. I've only had this for 2 weeks. They should be sending me a new one.

I tried to return to amazon, but they are running low on stock, and the replacement won't arrive for at least 3 weeks.

I've checked Reddit and a few other places, and this seems to be a common issue with these controllers. I have found a lot of people complaining of this exact issue. It's always with the RT button.

I have two defective controllers and it makes Absolutely Zero sense to purchase another controller that becomes defective because of Microsoft.

and open a repair request if necessary.

It will be the sensor in the analogue that will be loose, ive encountered it a few times, with FPS games you can adjust the deadzone on your right analogue to counter the drift.

The larger the deadzone the greater input you have to input for it to register the movement, ie if its only slight drift it should eliviate it.

There are people on ebay who will replace or refurbish the controller as the sensor is roughly about £20 for example if you are in the uk.

There are plenty of tutorials online, but id highly recommend buying the security star keys if you wish to replace it yourself.
