Xbox controller continuously disconnecting and reconnecting

is extremely common, my understanding its wifi interference. This thread will most likely be closed in no time, there has been many forum post like yours and they just get directed to some troubleshooter which will not fix the issue.

This has been annoying me since yesterday! Xbox One Updated on the 6th, I'm assuming the update is the problem! I went out and bought a new controller for $70 and nothing changed, new baterries for $10 and still nothing. If they don't fix this **** soon I'm going to blacklist microsoft forever.

i assume you have already reset your xbox to factory default or tried to update the controller firmware.

What's left is to request repair of your xbox, it is likely that the problem is defect in the built-in bluetooth receiver of the xbox.

Hello, I tried the steps you gave to me and unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem. The drive still disconnects, but then it immediately reconnects. It is disconnecting then reconnecting continuously.

So far for about 3 days it seems to have magically fixed itself. Odd but I'm guessing it will come back.
