    Xbox Controller connected to pc not working


    So ive connected my xbox controller to my PC and after I try to turn it on the xbox logo just keeps blinking and blinking, how do I fix that so it actually works. (I also don't have bluetooth on my PC)

    Is the controller a wireless controller or wired? If it is wireless, how are you connecting it? If by using the play & charge kit, then the Xbox 360 controller will not work, as the cable is only recognized on PC for charging only. You need to use a Xbox
    360 Wireless adapter for PC to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your PC.

    If your controllers are wireless, then you are going to need the Xbox 360 wireless adapter for PC to be able to connect the controller to the PC. https://bit.ly/3zldL21

    If it's wired, then just plugging the controllers into the PC via the USB socket should work fine.
    The OP is trying to control his Xbox One whilst having the controller plugged into the PC rather than having issues connecting the controller to PC.

    I don't see how controlling your XB1 with a PC connected controller would even work...not unless there is some sort of remote share function or other on the XB1 maybe? Much like PCs have remote desktops to control it from another location?

    have the exact same problem but with my PC. The controller and the xbox wireless adapter are both connected with the steady light but the controller has the status not connected on the PC.

    Whats wrong and the controller worked fine just a couple of hours ago?
