Xbox Controller can't connect to multiple bluetooth paired devices

Here an example of the process I want to achieve:

1. I pair my controller with my iPhone - OK

2. I long press the sync button and pair my controller with my iPad - OK

3. I want to connect again to my iPhone, How I do that?

The only way I've found is forgetting the controller from my iPhone and then pair it again, is there a faster way?

I have the last firmware installed from Windows

PS: Double tap the sync button doesn't work in this case, because these are 2 bluetooth devices, not an Xbox

Hi ViperMagma, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

The Xbox Wireless Controller that comes with Xbox Series X|S includes a feature that allows for quickly switching between a paired Bluetooth device and an Xbox console. If the controller is connected to a Bluetooth device, double-press the Pair button, and the controller will immediately switch its connection to the last Xbox console it was paired to. Then, to switch back to the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Pair button to start pairing mode. The controller will automatically connect to the Bluetooth device you were just using while it also searches for new devices – just in case you want to connect a different Bluetooth device or Xbox. If it doesn’t find a new device nearby in pairing mode, it will remain connected to the previous Bluetooth device.

As of the moment, the said feature is not yet available on Xbox Elite Series 2. But what I always do is make sure that when you turn on your devices such as PC or Laptop, the Bluetooth is turned off then turn the controller on first before turning on the Bluetooth for it to automatically reconnect.

Hi, so according to my example, you suggest to disconnect the Bluetooth of my iPad? I’ve tried but the issue is that when I turn on the controller it will try to connect to the last device (iPad), I can’t find a way to force the controller to connect to a device different from the last one

I see. Since we’re trying to switch a device to connect with, I am afraid we have to reset or pair again the controller onto the previous one.

But have you tried pressing the sync button on your controller for 6 to 10 seconds until it vibrates to unsync it from your iPad?

If you want to switch a device to use with your controller, simply disconnect the bluetooth connection of the current one and try connecting it with the other one. There's no need to unpair & pair gain.

Hi,

I have xbox one s and bluetooth controller. I couldn't manage to pair my bluetooth headset (sony wh-1000xm3) with bluetooth controller. (Since BT devices can not be connected with CONSOLE via bluetooth, I try to connect BT headset with CONTROLLER).

How can I pair BT headset and controller?
