Xbox Controller Bluetooth Stopped Working on Windows 10

My Xbox-One controller's Bluetooth stopped working one day. When I press the Xbox Button it flashes for as long as I hold it in but as soon as I let go it turns off. Plugging the controller in via USB works and the controller functions normally. I tried
to plug the controller in to the wall via a USB phone cable and then the Xbox button flashes but the sync button doesn't do anything. I have tried Uninstalling and re-installing the drivers, this didn't work. I also tried removing the batteries and putting
them back in but to no avail.

Xbox One Chatpad Does Not Work on Windows 10

Xbox One Chatpad does not work when connected to bluetooth in windows 10, even if the Xbox One controller works with bluetooth. But when I connect the controller with a USB cable, the chatpad is running.
I downloaded Xbox Accessories. The update was installed on the controller and chatpad. Still, there's nothing changing. Will I be able to wirelessly run the chatpad on Windows 10 without receiving the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

 

Will PS3 Bluetooth Headset work with Xbox One?

The Xbox One console doesn't support Bluetooth. That headset won't work with the Xbox One in any way.

The new Xbox One controllers (the ones that come with the Xbox One S) have Bluetooth, but that's only used to connect the controller to a Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth.

is unable to pair with a different device, we recommend setting up a repair for the controller. Our customers can set up a repair through the

Microsoft hardware website. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

The controller cannot pair with any computer, in fact it is not even visible on any computer. As I said, the Xbox button on the controller flashes slowly when I press and hold the button but as soon as I let go it switches off entirely. Pressing and holding
the Xbox button for a slow flash and then simultaneously pressing the sync button, which would usually result in a fast flash, does not result in a fast flash, it just keeps flashing slowly. When I plug the device into an external power source, the Xbox button
slashes slowly but the sync button still does not cause it to flash more quickly and it is not visible to any device. Thus I am quite sure that it is not a problem with the computer but with the controller.

If the controller is not being recognized, try troubleshooting the drivers for the controller.



If Windows doesn’t install the driver automatically, you can update the driver manually via Device
Manager. Follow these steps:

1) On your keyboard, press
Win+R(Windows logo key and R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.

2) Type
devmgmt.mscand press
Enteron your keyboard.

3) Expand the branch
Microsoft Xbox One Controller.

4) Right-click on the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select
Update driver
(On lower Windows 10 versions, select
Update Driver Software).

5) Click
Search automatically for updated driver software. Then Windows will install
the new driver for the device.

6) Check to see if you can use the Xbox One Controller properly.
