XBox Controller Axis Stuck

Hello.

I've had my controller for two or three weeks now and it has worked well up until yesterday. I originally thought it was thumbstick drift but when I use both the calibrator and another online tool it looks like both sticks movements are locked downward. The controller itself picks up fine when I plug it up, but if I touch it, start to press a button or two it locks the control back into position. The thumbsticks themselves are fine, still centered, but all the calibration tools I've used show that the input they are giving is locked downwards.

I also noticed that when I activate the controller this way, my start menu and other Microsoft apps will cycle through options very fast, not allowing me to click any of them, this continues even after I unplug the controller.

I'm up to date on all of my updates as far as I can tell and checked the controller's driver and it too appears to be updated. I'm at a lost for options and hope that someone can help.

The joystick has a 90-day warranty, microsoft does not carry out out-of-date repairs.

Search in the Controls section by "Throttle X Axis"...

You will be able to configure:

"Throttle 1 Axis" for the engine 1

"Throttle 2 Axis" for the engine 2

"Throttle 3 Axis" for the engine 3

"Throttle 4 Axis" for the engine 4

You can just use the lever 1 to control engines 1 and 2, and the lever 2 to control engines 3 and 4

You can adjust the Y-axis by choosing "Controller" at the title screen, choose your save slot, then select Options, then Options again (not Controls), and either scroll left or right to invert the Y-axis gameplay or Y-axis camera to your liking. I don't
see an X-axis option.

Very helpful, thanks. I should have checked my settings properly. But the french confused me.

The important parts are the following (you only need to set the axe settings to fly):

Flight control surfaces > Primary control surfaces

- Ailerons Axis: Joystick L-Axis X (Querruderachse)

- Elevator Axis: Joystick L-Axis Y (Höhenruderachse)

- Rudder Axis: Joystick L-Axis Z (Seitenruderachse)

Power Managent > Throttle (Energieverwaltung > Gashebel)

- Throttle Axis: Joystick thrust control X (Gashebelachse)

Also set the buttons of the Joystick where you prefer it.

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your controller. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

I understand that you would like to have access to both the Xbox accessories app for the standard controller and the Xbox adaptive controller to be able to remap the x-axis of the sticks. I will do my best to assist you with this concern.

Now, to address your concern, the Xbox accessories app for the standard controller does not allow you to remap the x-axis of the sticks. However, the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller does allow you to remap both the x-axis and y-axis of the sticks.

To access the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller, you will need to connect the controller to your Windows 10 PC using a USB cable or Xbox Wireless Adapter. Once connected, you can download and install the Xbox accessories app from the Microsoft Store.

After installing the app, you can launch it and select the Xbox adaptive controller from the list of connected devices. From there, you can select the stick you want to remap and choose the "Remap button" option. This will allow you to remap both the x-axis and y-axis of the stick to any other button or axis on the controller.

Regarding your concern about remapping the x-axis of the right stick for camera controls, you can use the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller to remap the stick to your desired configuration. For example, you can remap the right stick's x-axis to the left stick's x-axis and vice versa.

As for remapping the x-axis of the left stick for a right-handed fight stick, you can also use the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller to remap the stick to your desired configuration. You can remap the left stick's x-axis to the right stick's x-axis and vice versa.
