  2. Sony Pulse Elite Headphones without the audio adapter and no game audio?

I have a pair of pulse elites and a new controller and no audio adapter. I used to have the adapter and an older controller, I would get game audio. Now just the mic works and the audio only comes through the television. I can hear the audio that the mic
is picking up. Do I need to have the adapter to get in game audio or am I missing something?

  3. xobx stereo headset adapter on PC

I have an older xbox one controller with no audio jack. I use it on a windows 10 PC. I purchased the stereo headset adapter however mic audio is not working. The PC sees both a headset and mic and I can hear audio through the headset. Mic audio seems as
if it's muted. I have tried multiple headsets, the controller was updated on my friends Xbox One but still get no audio. Chat rep said there's no mic audio at this time but it's coming soon? Is this true? Anyone else have an adapter and is it working normally?

    Thanks!

Hey loucarvo! Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm from the Xbox Forum team and would be happy to help. When you plug in a headset or earbuds using the 3.5mm headphone jack input, it creates a new Audio section underneath the normal general settings you
can locate from your Xbox Guide under the Systems tab. From there, you can adjust settings specific to the headset you are using from controlling the master volume to controlling the chat mixer and game audio volumes. There is also a setting that is call "Mic
Monitoring", which is primarily a feedback feature that replays the audio that is picked up by your microphone. So that includes your voice and game audio if it is high volume that is coming out from the earbuds. Also when using your 4K TV make sure in those
same settings, the chat mixer is right in the middle so you get 50% game audio and 50% chat audio. If you hear no game audio, it could be the chat volume is at 100%. Let me know if that works or if you need some more clarification!

There can be something to do with the settings. Check this link for a possible solution: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/stereo-headset-set-up-troubleshoot

Audífonos conectados al control conectado al pc

    Hi There,

This can sometimes happen as its mixing the game audio and mic audio. I suggest going to control panel and audio devices, then "recording". You should try to find the mic that belongs to your controller and set that as your default communication device.
If you still get this noise you may need to connect the headset directly to the pc and not the controller.

Mic on new controllers with 3.5mm built in Audio port

Interestingly, I can hear audio from the xbox through my earbuds, the controllers just don't seem to be sending the microphone audio to the xbox. I was under the impression that the 3.5mm port on the new controllers had both audio and mic capabilities, am
    I wrong?

I know that the microphone is sending sound to the controller and I know it's getting sent to the correct pins on the 3.5mm port...

    Headset Adapter Support (Live Chat)

I found I was having problems with the audio there was a sort of echo/reverb on the game audio. I found out if I turned the volume on the turtle beach headset 100% down and then just used the audio controls on the stereo adapter it fixed the issue.

The problem seems to be I was getting game audio from the TV into the head phones which was going via the volume control on the TB headset wire, and previously on the 360 just the chat was coming from the pad. With the new adapter on the Xbox One it pulls
the game audio and the chat audio via the pad, and I was also getting the game audio from the TV with a slight delay causing the distorted sound.

Basically turn the game volume on the wire control thing on the TB headset fully down and it sorts the distorted game audio.

The way the chat adapter volumes work is the 2 buttons on the left control the balance between game and chat audio, the middle is mute and the two on the right are master volume. This can be confusing as the two on the right used to be chat volume on the
adapter that came with the original Xbox One headset/mic thing.

Hope that helps in some way.
