Xbox controller and Oculus Go

I recently purchased the gray/green wireless xbox gamepad to pair with my Oculus Go. I opened the Oculus App on my phone, paired the gamepad to my phone but when the gamepad tries to connect to the headset I keep getting the message " Something went wrong.
Please try again." I've tried several times but continue to get the same message. Any help??

I think Oculus will eventually work with Xbox, it's currently sold with an Xbox one controller. Plus a quick Google will give you more information on Oculus and Xbox/Microsoft.

Actually Sony has 3D Viewer glasses which replaces the TV and they are cool and $700(ouch). But Oculus VR are the future. Oculus ,already has development kits for sale. PC .The problem with console it needs a controller to work with it or some controller
app to replace the left thumbstick( directional control)
