    Xbox Controller and Internet lose connection at the same. Controller has a hard time...


    This has been something recently happening and I've had this xbox for years. My controller and Internet connection will disconnect simultaneously from the Xbox. I've tried multiple times to restart both console and modem but the longest it will last is 15 min maybe. And no there's isn't a timer on my xbox.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

    Do you have an external hard drive plugged in to the console right now? Or any wireless device that can interrupt signals? If yes, kindly unplug those and check if the issue still persist.

    No external drives or anything else plugged in except hdmi and power cable. Nothing is surrounding the Xbox other than the modem. And the modem has been next to the Xbox for a while and no issues.

    I'm sorry to hear about the odd issue. Thanks for posting in detail, it's much appreciated. When you have some time set aside, I would suggest trying out these troubleshooting steps below.

    1. Power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console
      will power down.
    2. When the console is off, unplug your console from the power source and unplug your power cord to your router/modem/gateway. Leave everything unplugged for about 3 minutes.
    3. Now plug everything back in and turn the console on.
    4. Try playing Halo: MCC again like you normally would.
    Be sure to let us know how the troubleshooting goes!
