    Xbox controler firmware issue needs attention


    "There's this issue going around on the newest 5.23.5.0 firmware controller update causing a deadzone sitck drift issues many user's have reported this having the same issues causing alot of thumstick fine tuning issues and seeing if there is a future update to this fix and controllers are new and everyone is having this issue," and my controller is newits the firmware issue and i ahve a series x.

    On your Xbox console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Xbox Support > Get help > Help topics > Hardware & networking > Controllers > My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update. Select Check your controller’s firmware to open the controller firmware reversion screen in the Xbox Accessories app, and then follow the instructions in the app.

    Note: You can also use this link to revert your controller’s firmware on a Windows device. You will need to have the Xbox Accessories app for Windows installed for the Check your controller’s firmware link to work. If you don’t have the app, get it here: https://aka.ms/xboxaccessoriesupdateapp

    On the other hand, I would recommend that you also share your feedback about the latest update so that Team Xbox can take a look and make adjustments as necessary.

    1. Press and hold the Xbox button

    2. Select Report a problem

    3. Choose the most appropriate category and subcategory from each dropdown

    Controller won't detect headset after firmware update

    This is the first clue I've seen that identifies a controller firmware update as breaking headset detection. I hope Xbox Support is paying attention to reports like this.

    Why is my Xbox One Elite Controller not vibrating in Destiny despite vibration being enabled in game and in the App?

    The link you provided is a dead link. It doesn't work.

    On my Xbox it says no update available for the controller.

    I've spoken with people on the preview program and they say that their Xbox One Elite Controller vibrates with Destiny. They have a different software version on their controller. So it's absolutely not a compatibility issue, but a firmware issue. The
    firmware for the controller that's currently only available on the Xbox Live preview program needs to be made available to everyone.
