Xbox Console not picking up Controller Movement

Discus and support Xbox Console not picking up Controller Movement in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Controller is able to turn on and off the console.     Xbox Console not picking up Controller Movement


    Controller is able to turn on and off the console. But unable to move anything in Xbox Home screen. Only able to play disc games as Xbox loads directly into game.

    I have tried numerous times to pair and un-pair with no success. I have also tried a new controller which has the same issue so the problem is with the console itself. I cannot reset the Xbox or Controller as that would require the controller to work to go to settings.

    maybe the Kinect sensor is picking movement up. Your movements may count as activity

    A well lighted room, not next to a window or directly behind a window, due to the brightness my daughters system would get fuzzy reading when dancing, best thing would be light behind the Kinect and over head. This usually means (for my daughter) closing
    the curtains and using the lights in the room for the best detection.

    I hate it. Happens to me at times which gets me killed. Just due to the analog stick picking up the slightest movement. Only fix is a new controller.
