Xbox Console game filter sucks. Cause there is none. Why do I have to go online, look up...

I have the same problem. None of the solutions xbox support have told me work. I have tried everything! There is a problem in the xbox itself. Controllers, headset and mic all work. If you go look up your controller..the volume is greyed out and will not
let you adjust.

It really sucks not be be able to game chat.

we have the same problem I can use everything while my husband cant play any of his games online or offline. it says on support all games should work but we are having problems with it. we reset the xbox and restarted games what is going on?

When you go to your Xbox app, go to your Library, change the filter to owned games, see if the game comes up. Xbox app will show most games that you have the option to download it on the console but you will not be able to play it if you do not have the license from the account. That is why I wanted you to check if you can find the game bought from your order history because if that is not there, it could be on a different account. Orders will not be removed from the history as well.

Check your message safety settings to make sure the content filter is not set to Friendly or Medium. The 'Unfiltered" option will turn off most content filters with Xbox. You can do this by going to your settings and selecting Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Message safety.

To my knowledge, none of those words you have listed are considered mature. If you are running into censored verbiage through Xbox's messaging platform then it might be a phrase that is being filtered rather than a single word. If you are running into these filters with in-game messaging platforms, then this is likely a developer choice to filter the content instead of Microsoft.
