Xbox Console Desktop Application Issues

So to verify, this is the rebranded Xbox Console Companion app? What used to be the Xbox app prior to the Xbox (beta) app for Xbox Game Pass PC? And the situation is that you want to stream the game from the console via the App, and then stream to your
platform of choice (Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, etc) from the PC capturing the game from the streaming, and the audio from Party Chat via the Xbox App? What are you using to stream, the built in Game Bar?

I do know that if you're in a party on the Xbox, and streaming natively, that it requires the others opt in via the party to include their audio. Are you sure users are doing that in your LFG or not on your friends list?

you need to look into the setting...do you have a console? Does it show up correctly there?

How could that be an issue? The console works just fine for youtube and every other application involving the internet - as does my desktop computer, and wifi-enabled devices. I've had no internet problems

Close the origin application completely, make sure it is not running in the task manager

Do not launch the EA Desktop application

Try installing the game via Xbox app, if it doesn't work try installing directly from EA Desktop.

I do not have a separate XBOX console. All my activity is on my desktop PC via desktop applications. In particular the number of Hearts, Dynamite and Pickaxes available in Microsoft Treasure Hunt were at one time greater than they are today. I believe this happened after an OS upgrade sometime along the way.
