Xbox console/Controller glitching all of a sudden

So I was using microsoft edge on my husband's Xbox console and when I tried changing to the bluray feature it started glitching and this is the forst time this has happened. I even changed the batteries. What could possibly be wrong? It's a brand new system.

Hello, do you already performed a console power cycle? this will fix most of the times this kind of issues, here are the instructions in the following link:

my console ws doing this a few days ago, I had to keep re-syncing my controllers to my xbox, and sometimes it was taking ages for it to finally sync together, and then all of a sudden a couple of days later it worked fine

It is possible that your brother's account is not the home Xbox anymore on the console you are using that's why you are getting an error when accessing the games that were installed from his account.

You will need to set it up again by logging in to that account and doing the steps below.

Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalisation, and then select My home Xbox.

Do either of the following to change the status of your console:

To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.

What do you mean?

When I received the console with the controller, they were working perfect, I bought it like a month and a half ago, just recently like almost a week ago all of a sudden this aux wasn't working at all.
