xbox console companion, taking ages to load and error code 0x409 0x42b

ive reinstalled and uninstalled the xbox app many times, ive tried other means of trying to fix it, ive removed all devices except the one i am using, i think the problem started when i accidentally ended the xbox console companion task/process in task
manager, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its fine, i solved the issue, if you look at different forum posts with the same error code you have, TIP do the ones that require windows powershell, make sure to restart pc while using dont turn it off and on use the restart function

I have tried those previously but I just gave it another shot.

It still is doing the same. I am also getting an error on xbox companion app of ''We can't sign you in right now. Try again later." (0x409) 0x42B

Hi Simon,

Thanks for replying and providing those error codes. Sorry to hear that the issue is persisting. I would recommend that you first check your PC for any updates that may be pending that need to install. Update

Should it still give you the same message, then I would recommend taking a try at the troubleshooting and solutions from a previous thread of the same nature on our forums: xBox

Hey, thanks for responding! Unfortunately, this also did not work for me

The Xbox app now rapidly opens and closes the login screen when I attempt to log in, and the console companion app is giving me error code (0x409) 0x80131509.
