    I have been unable to stream to my pc using the "Console companion" app for the last few days. I'm not sure exactly when this problem started but it was working fine 2 weeks ago. When I click on "Test Streaming" I instantly get a message saying I need to either update my Xbox One or the Xbox app, but both are up to date. I tried factory resetting my PC and uninstalling and reinstalling all of the Xbox apps. My console is up date and set up to stream, as I said, this did work fine for me until now.. If I use the "Xbox" app and click on the "Consoles" icon beside my gamer tag it does stream my Xbox to my pc but I want to use "Console Companion" for various reasons including quality.. If anyone has run into this issue and has a solution please let me know. Thank you.

    Dont use the companion app anymore. Use the xbox app built with windows 10. I just tried it and it works great

    I have Windows 10 on my computer, my console is up to date, my Companion App is up to date, and everything is connected, yet it also says either one needs an update.

    No you can stream on the Xbox app that's built into windows. This app is Legacy from windows eight and like windows eight has been discontinued
