If you need to update your Xbox controller firmware and don't have access to another controller to do so

Use the Xbox Accessories app on Windows 10 If you have a Windows 10 computer, you can try updating the controller firmware through the Xbox Accessories app. Connect your Xbox controller to your computer using a USB cable and open the Xbox Accessories app. Under the "Controller" tab, you should see the option to update the controller firmware if an update is available.

Use a friend's Xbox console If you have access to a friend or family member's Xbox console, you can try connecting your controller to their console and performing the firmware update from there. Once you've completed the update, you can reconnect the controller to your own console.

If none of the above options are viable, you may consider visiting an authorized Xbox service center. There, trained technicians can help you update the controller firmware using their own equipment.

Okay now that we know that you have a console, you can try reverting your controller's firmware by trying the steps below:

• Power on and sign into your console
  
• Go to "My Games and Apps"
  
• Go to your "Apps" section and select the Xbox Assist app
  
• Once in the Xbox Assist app, head over to the "Articles" section, then select "Console & Accessories"
  
• Once under "Console & Accessories" you should see "My controller has connection issues after the last update"
  
• Select the "Check controller firmware" button below and the Xbox Accessories app should automatically open up
  
• Once in the Xbox Accessories app, select "Revert Firmware"
  

It's important to note that once you've completed this process, you will have to manually update the controller through the Xbox accessories app going forward.

The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 has the newest driver (there's no firmware update in Xbox Accessories app) and the Xbox Series controller has the newest firmware (updated via Xbox Accessories app). Didn't help.

like i said it is NOT POSSIBLE to connect the Controller with the Xbox accessories app till the Update for the new firmware is out. which means i cannot check the controllers firmware because im unable to connect it tot the app,

You may have to double check to see if your controllers need a firmware update. Go to Settings -> Devices & streaming -> Accessories (or open the Xbox Accessories app on your console), then see if there's a firmware update for your controller. Click on
the three dots on the screen, and that should tell you if there's an update available.
