Xbox connection extremely slow?

So my connection on MW has been slow for a few says now it was fine before.

ive just ran a speedtest on my phone and the results are 108 mbps down 9.92 mbps up.

same test at the same time on my xbox using the same website and results are massively different, showing 7.96mbps down with 2.50mbps up.

is there settings on xbox that have to be adjusted to change these results games are effectively unplayable with these speeds and running a cable from the router which is in a different room to the xbox might prove difficult without being a bit of a mess
anyway. Also phone test was done in same room as the xbox so no distance issue there. Any help is appreciated.

Give it time and things will return to normal, Just so many people online at the moment.

Hi, I think because of the Corona quarantine and since everyone is currently @home the burden on online services and Internet providers is extremely high at the moment. This is likely to result in lower download values, especially in cities

This issue is affecting me as well. I believe that Xbox services are slow/down because of COVID-19. Give it some time and if it doesn't work email Xbox Customer service about your issue

MW servers have not been the best during this time. People are complaining about a lot of lag and being kicked out of games.

There are many reasons possible at the moment:

- MW Servers are not the best this time. In some matches very laggy in other games without lags

- Wlan Performance 2 GHz / 5 GHz

- NAT open?

- Internet speed / performance of your ISP

- and of course many many people are at home because of covid-19 so servers are stressed or temporarily limited
